Romantic Restaurants to Visit This Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is the time to treat you and your partner to a special outing, and what better way to do that than to try a restaurant you’ll hopefully love as much as them! Here are some romantic restaurants around Long Beach to try this Valentine’s Day to spice up the holiday.

1. The Breakfast Bar

It just so happens that The Breakfast Bar’s second location is celebrating its one-year anniversary on Valentine’s Day as well as the holiday itself with live piano entertainment by Jon Tomlinson and a pre-fixe dinner for two for $165 complete with a bottle of champagne, soup or salad, an appetizer trio flight, entree, and dessert trio flight.

Located on Redondo and 4th street, the location offers a stylish cozy interior filled with chandeliers, succulents, and gold accents. There will be an early dinner seating starting at 6 p.m. and a late seating at 8 p.m. To make reservations and see the Valentine’s Day menu you can click here.

2. Sushi Nikkei

Sushi Nikkei is one of four Michelin-recommended restaurants in Long Beach serving up a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese ingredients in their Peruvian-style sushi known as Nikkei cuisine, a term that celebrates Japanese culture of those that have emigrated outside of Japan. Sushi Nikkei is the only restaurant of its kind in the Long Beach area serving authentic Peruvian dishes by Chef Eduardo Chang Ogata, like their must-try Tiradito Nikkei as well as their Sushi Nikkei Tasting platter.

The sleek minimalist interior offers a zen setting for those looking for a relaxing date spot with high-quality food. Reservations are highly recommended as both of the restaurant locations are bustling with guests at times and can be made on their website linked here
