LONG BEACH TURKEY TROT
When: Thursday November 28th from 7 am – 11 am
Where: 1 Granada Ave, Long Beach
It’s that time of year again! If anyone needs me, you can find me frantically training to do the Long Beach Turkey Trot! Technically, you can walk or run and it’s very low pressure, but I like to beat my previous times. The run is scenic and it’s also very flat. Strollers are allowed as well, and they have a kid’s run if your little wants to do a race of their own. Proceeds benefit Justin Rudd‘s nonprofit Community Action Team (CAT). THANKSGIVING LUNCH AT THE AQUARIUM
When: Thursday November 28th from 11 am – 3 pm
Where: Aquarium of the Pacific, 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach
Come gobble gobble with the sea otters and the entire Aquarium family. You and your family can meet over 12,000 animals from the world’s largest ocean, and savor an expanded menu of traditional Thanksgiving buffet in the Aquarium’s Café Scuba, Veranda, and Front Plaza (weather permitting). The Aquarium is open for normal operation from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The menu includes Citrus & Dijon herb Roasted Turkey, Spinach Apple Cheddar Almond Salad, Southern Style Sweet & Savory Stuffing, and more. Dessert will be Pumpkin Bread Pudding & Cookies! ONCE A YEAR PINT CHIP SALE
When: Saturday November 30th from 12 am – 12 pm

SHOP SMALL SATURDAY
When: Saturday November 30th from 11 am – 5 pm
Where: Downtown Long Beach, Long Beach
Support local DTLB businesses! Downtown Long Beach’s Shop Small Saturday will kick off the holiday season right! There will be a variety of activities: entertainment, crafts and themed holiday food & drinks. Attendees can pick up a map and can catch the free trolleys, which will stop at various locations in Downtown to shop and dine at all of the great businesses. There will be lots of specials going on all day and throughout the holiday season.
To help shoppers move around the Downtown, the Big Red Bus and trolley will operate two routes, both accessible at MADE by Millworks, free of charge While businesses will be open all day for shopping, the Big Red Bus and trolley will be in circulation from 12 PM-4 PM . A map of 50+ businesses participating in Shop Small Saturday will be available at neighborhood hubs and on the bus and trolley to help shoppers navigate a fun day of shopping and dining. SELFIES WITH SANTA

Where: The Pike Outlets, 95 S Pine Ave, Long Beach
