 Tacos and Tequila Fest is right around the corner! The all-day food festival, presented by Playa Larga, is a celebration Latin culture with a variety of food vendors, tequila tastings, live music, lucha libre and shopping.

Here are some food of the food vendors to keep an eye out for at the festival:


Los Reyes del Taco Sabroso

This Long Beach taquería is serving up authentic Mexico City style tacos, quesadillas and tortas. With their classic masa tortilla as the star of the show, Los Reyes’ Mexico City style tacos should be on the list for any foodie at the festival.

Yummy Fingers

 This food stand is bringing Venezuelan classics to the function, serving up empanadas, gooey cheesy arepas and patacones–plantain sandwiches– as well as taqueños (Venezuelan cheese sticks wrapped in a fried dough). For those craving a taste of Venezuela, Yummy Fingers is definitely worth checking out.

Thai Mex Cocina

The first Thai-Mexican fusion restaurant in California is bringing a whole new culture of flavors to the game with their thai style tacos. Thai Mex will be serving up classics like chicken satay, crispy pork and garlic shrimp tacos.

 This popup cart is bringing authentic Mexicali style tacos and guisados, home-style braises served over tortillas to the greater Los Angeles area and to Taco and Tequila fest on June 29. Keep an eye out for their asada tacos served on handmade flour tortillas made with flour ground in Mexicali to get the authentic flavor of the state.
