Food-a-Looza isn’t all about the food. Along with local food truck vendors, this event is also celebrating local retail vendors. We plan to introduce you to 20 vendors all from different styles and craftsmanship. We’re sure you’ll find something you like.
First on the list is Adelita’s Revenge. It is “a queer, indigenous, Chicana tiendita located in the heart of Long Beach”. They sell stickers, jewelry and other accessories inspired by the Mexican culture. Come celebrate their handcrafted products at Food-a-Looza.
Up next is J Graphix Studio. It is a collection of local vendors that help the Long Beach community that is interested in apparel making. Their work ranges from hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirts. They work together with you to come up with your desired design and create the look you want.
Now, West Coast Apparel and Fashion brings its customers the best brands they can. They have great selections of sneakers, hats and clothes. They have a great social media presence where you can find their latest restocks and shipments, but also their adorable dogs.
In our next spot we have Drina & Quartz. It’s a Mexican/American owned shop. They make handmade products ranging from mugs to quartz incorporated “Virgencita” statues. Much of their work follows Latinx inspired patters and history making their work vibrant and colorful.
In our fifth spot is Elithyia’s Candles, where they make hand poured soy wax candles. Their Instagram bio describes their work as “intentional candles for the witch within”. Their candles are beautifully designed with 3D objects like flowers, herbs and quartz crystals. Even the candle holders are unique to each candle.
Next is Emy’s Crafts which is a personalization shop. The owner Emilia Ramirez can customize water bottles, Christmas ornaments and clothes, like shirts and jackets. The shop even has a selection of make-up pallets. The skills of customization can be adapted to multiple crafts so rely on their good work.
For all the Crock owners of the world, have you heard of Puro Crockiando. They are a small business that sell charms for Crocks. They have all forms of charms some inspired from animes like Spy Family or your favorite horror characters like Pennywise. Crochet, Crochet, Crochet! The next shop is Unique Generation, which makes handmade crochet bucket hats. Their hats are all unique with their own colors and patterns, you’re sure to find one you like. But they also have a cute selection of colorful bracelets and keychains.
In spot nine we have an entertaining craft shop. Slime Gets Lit is a company that creates fun slime products that can last for up to six months. Their slimes come in different colors with different charms and sprinkles. Their specialties are fun baskets that can include prizes and slime parties!
Mystical Treasures makes beautiful jewelry such as rings, necklaces and bracelets. They use crystals in many of their pieces like their keychains. Their pieces are not only special in craftsmanship, but they also hold symbolism and definition like their evil eye necklaces.
If you’re interested in all things beauty and fashion, then Bella Vida is the stop for you. They customize vintage flannels with designs inspired by Frida Kahlo and the Virgencita. They also sell custom candles and hair oils, so if you are ready to spoil yourself don’t stop yourself from looking them up.
For all crystal users and enthusiasts you’ll like Luna’s Crystals. It is a Hispanic Owned shop specializes and sells all forms of crystals. But that is not all that they have in store, they also sell incense holders, cute hair clips, sage and bracelets. They have a large selection of goods that are sure to pique your interests so don’t hesitate to find them.
Finally on our list is Magically Haunted. Don’t worry there is nothing scary or haunted about them, but they do have some magical purses, pops, pins and more “magical things”. They’re sure to have a Funko, a Conchita Coin Purse, or a magical hair clip for you so do not let the name stop you from checking them out.
