Go on a scavenger hunt throughout Long Beach’s urban landscape at no cost
If you or your partner consider yourselves urban explorers and have a knack for puzzles then this is the perfect date idea for you. If you download the geocaching app, the free app will give you coordinates around your local area of where items will be hidden throughout Long Beach’s landscape. The coordinates come with a difficulty ranking and a clue giving insight into the location of the item as well as what the item might possibly be. It is important to check every nook and cranny of the location you are at since items can be hidden under parking curbs, inside telephone pole boxes, PVC pipes and even inside small screws carefully placed right where they seem to belong so don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty. The app is free and can be used at any time but they also have a premium version that offers additional locations to find items.
