Is it really February already?! I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. We like to celebrate as a family the day of, and we also do some Valentine’s themed arts and crafts during the weeks leading up to it. Even if the activities aren’t exactly Valentine’s Day themed, we look for things where we can snuggle up and be lovey together. Looking for some fun and affordable ways to celebrate the day of love with your fam? Here’s some of our favs below.

Gigil Valentine’s Themed Stem Kit
If you haven’t tried Gigil’s stem kits yet, this is a great opportunity to check them out! They have a variety of themes, and this month’s theme happens to be Valentine’s Day. This is great if you want to do some arts and crafts with the kiddos but you don’t want to spend the time and money to go buy all the supplies individually, cut up tiny squares of paper, things of that nature. They also have ideas I never would have thought of on my own. Kids get to create and learn at the same time, and I also love that the kits come with EVERYTHING you need. Like if you need glue for a project, glue comes in the box. Check out their kits at the link below.

This month they have a special where you can get a family pass for only $100, and it offers unlimited train rides and carousel rides for a family of 4 all month long!

Every kid knows Valentine’s Day comes with sweets. Step your game up from candy hearts and take the fam to the Funnel House at Shoreline Village. They have epic treats like funnel cake sundaes, churros, custom ice cream sandwiches, and more. While you’re there you can take a stroll along the boardwalk and make an afternoon out of it. Heart Shaped Pizza
A lot of restaurants will probably do this if you ask, but Papa Johns is a good standby because they offer heart shaped pizzas every year around Valentine’s Day. Their pizza is tasty and predictable, which is great when you have kids. They’ll get a kick out of the heart shape, and you get out of cooking dinner! Win win!
