Long Beach Architecture Week Kicks Off May 31

From May 31 – June 11, Long Beach Architecture Week (LBAW) will be hosting an event series that will give community members the chance to explore the city’s rich architecture through tours, educational talks, and community events.

From the historic Villa Riviera that towers over downtown to the decorated structures on the Long Beach Harbor Islands, these architectural pieces contribute to the life force of our vibrant city, and LBAW intends to give them the recognition they deserve. Long Beach Architecture Week is not only dedicated to celebrating our exquisite buildings but to promoting its preservation, sustainability, and new developments.

Whether you’re an architecture enthusiast or simply looking for a fascinating experience, LBAW 2023 has something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees have the option to choose from guided and self-guided tours, double-decker bus tours, and/or boat tours that feature architectural gems from the past, present, and future.

These tours are made available as paid exclusive tours or free excursions for those seeking a more accessible option. Individuals interested in attending can download the LB Living app, available for download on Google Play and in the Apple Store, for a more convenient hub on event details.
