Farmer’s Markets are a great place to go get some delicious fresh food. They all have a great ambiance and are a relaxing place to browse, sample, and take home some great produce. Since the local community runs most farmer’s markets, you can expect a warm welcome and friendly people.

Long Beach has a broad range of farmers markets taking place Tuesday through Sunday so you can always make a stop for fresh produce throughout the week. The prices are low, the taste is great, and a few have entertainment so you can further enjoy your time. Here is a list of Long Beach’s amazing farmers market happening every week.

Tuesday

To start off the farmers market week take a stroll down to Bixby Park and check out their great gourmet specialty foods and treats. They also have a unique selection of local arts, crafts, and jewelry. And if that’s not enough for you, they also have live music from local musicians. Take some time out of the day and come to the park for a family-friendly fun time.

The market is filled with fresh apricots, cherries, nectarines… You name it, and the likely answer is that they have it. Fresh fruit is definitely a stand-out here. You won’t want to leave without trying some of their great food stands either. Get some amazing tamales, specialty dishes, or beef hot dogs that are too good to deny.

Aside from the all the amazing produce and products, which will get to in a second, one of the best reasons to come down to this market is because it’s next to the beach. Feeling the ocean breeze, hearing the waves, and grabbing some fresh food is the making of a really good day.
