New Years Eve 2020 – At The Top

NEW YEARS EVE AT THE WATERFRONT

When: Tuesday December 31st from 5 pm – 10 pm

Where: Nautilus Shell, Shoreline Village, 401-435 Shoreline Village Dr, Long Beach

Fun for the whole family!  Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Waterfront! This FREE family-friendly event will kick-off the festivities at 5PM with live music, a photo booth, kids crafts, face painting, interactive games, cirque entertainers, food, 21+ bar (happy hour 5-6), and fireworks at 9 pm!  Parking is available at the Shoreline Village Parking lot, The Pike Outlets parking garage, or the Aquarium of the Pacific Parking on the water side of Shoreline Drive between Chestnut Place and Aquarium Way.  The event does not validate parking passes.  Also, Long Beach Transit will be offering free bus fares starting at 5 PM (see: ridelbt.com/newyear) Check out their website to get more details and plan your night!

NEW YEARS DAY BRUNCH AT RESTAURATION

When: Wednesday January 1st from 9 am – 3 pm

Where:  Restauration, 2708 E 4th Street, Long Beach

Not in the mood to spend your New Year’s Day cooking a family breakfast?!Restauration will be open tomorrow for brunch only!  If you haven’t been back to Restauration since they reopened, this is a great chance to head over and enjoy some of their amazing farm-to-table dishes.  Visit the event page to learn more!

LA ZOO LIGHTS

When: Daily, Wednesday January 1st – Sunday January 5th at 6 pm

I know this isn’t actually in Long Beach, but the trip to LA is worth is to see the zoo lights!  This is the last week to check them out, and every year we’ve gone I’ve been more and more impressed!  There are wild-life inspired displays plus new interactive experiences and the world’s largest illuminated pop-up storybook. Explore this fantastical wonderland while enjoying festive food and drinks.  Tickets are just $11 for Zoo members for any night of the run. After November 21, nonmember prices range from $11.95 to $21.95. (A convenience fee applies for online ticket purchases.) Visit their website to purchase tix!

FIRST FRIDAYS JAZZ NIGHT

When: Friday January 3rd from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Where: First Fridays Long Beach, 4321 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach

It’s the first First Fridays of the decade!  And this month’s theme is Jazz!  Head to Bixby Knolls to enjoy some live jazz music, art, food and drink specials, and more!  First Fridays is free to attend and is fun for the entire family.  Every month has a different theme so keep an eye out for upcoming month’s themes.  Head to their event page for full details!

VEGAN DISTRICT AT THE PIKE

When: Saturday January 4th from 12 pm – 5 pm

Where: The Pike Outlets, 95 S Pine Ave, Long Beach

FREE Vegan Festival this Saturday at The Pike Outlets.  There will be tons of Vegan food and drink options and animal-friendly merchandise.  A portion of event sales also go towards funding the Plant Based for All non-profit, so your purchases make a difference!  Check out their website to learn more!
