It’s finally here! Come check out the biggest community celebration in our city! The Absolute Best of Long Beach! You nominated, you voted, and you chose the winners. This Saturday night at 6 pm at the MOLAA, they will be announced. Get ready for live performances by S P a C E, Molly Durand Music, Blake H Scott, Michelle Harding and AM Aerials, Dangerous D, Michael Tetro and a few BIG surprises you don’t want to miss.. including The Dark Art Emporium experience!

BRICKERSVILLE TOUR AND OPEN STUDIO
Wednesday November 13th from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
It’s a LEGO Wonderland! Check out this dedicated Maker space – 3 rooms and 960 Square Feet FILLED with LEGO Bricks! Drop in at Brickersville for a free tour when you visit, or visit for Open Studio Design Time where you and the family can add on to the Brickersville city, work on creations of your own and generally luxuriate in Brick heaven! BIRD WALK
Thursday November 14th at 8 am
Stroll through the grounds of the historic rancho and watch both resident birds and seasonal migrants. Participants will also listen to calls and songs and potentially observe other specific seasonal behaviors. Meet in the lower parking lot at 8 a.m. sharp. Wear comfortable closed toed shoes and bring a hat and binoculars, if you have them. They also have a limited number of binoculars to lend, thanks to the generosity of Vortex Optics. FREE ART CLASSES
Friday November 15th from 4 pm – 6 pm
The vision of the Cultural Alliance of Long Beach is to create a community art center where artists of all ages can go for affordable art education, to learn employment skills In the art and creative industries, and to connect with the public. This Friday they will be offering free art classes for the community, for all ages. The class will be taught by an instructor and professional artist. Check out their website for more details!

3RD FRIDAY ONPINE: THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION FOR VETS
Friday November 15th from 6 pm – 9 pm
This 3rd Friday OnPine presents a Thanksgiving celebration for our local veterans featuring: holiday music, holiday card making for Veterans, and a turkey raffle (money will go to Long Beach Vets For Peace!) There will also be live music by local band, LONG BEACH UNPLUGGED and a special performance by James Mathews. Kress Markets will be serving their famous Street Tacos! This event takes place every 3rd Friday in front of Kress Markets. Visit their event page for more information!
