50 CENT TACOS AT WAHOO TACOS
Tuesday October 22nd from 11 am – 9:30 pm
I know, this isn’t really an event, it’s a sale. But, this Wahoo Tacos is opening at the Long Beach Exchange, and The Exchange is practically an event by itself. If you have never visited the LB Exchange, it’s home to a ton of artisan shops and restaurants, with plenty of places to sit and hang with friends, with the fam, or with a date. Head over there today for some yummy $0.50 cent Wahoo tacos all day October 22 when you come to celebrate their LBX grand opening. Limit 4 per person, while supplies last. And feel free to make a day of it while you’re there! Check out their event page for more details on Wahoo’s upcoming deals!
SPOOKY CRAFTS
Tuesday October 22nd from 3 pm – 6 pm
It’s a free craft day! Kids, bring your pumpkin to paint, or purchase one at the event for only $1. Continue your craft night with spooky slime making, and a glow in the dark paint station! Next, Trick or Treat through the SteelCraft businesses, and wrap it up by receiving a prize for finding all the clues in our scavenger hunt. This Spooky Crafting event is so exciting that they will host it TWICE this year! Find them at SteelCraft Bellflower on October 22nd, and at SteelCraft Long Beach on October 30th. Visit their site for more details!
FOURTH FRIDAYS
Friday October 25th from 6pm – 9 pm
Is it already time for another Fourth Fridays?! And it’s the Halloween one, which is my absolute favorite! Fourth Fridays is a monthly event on Retro Row in Long Beach (4th St. between Temple and Cherry) where many of the local restaurants, bars, and shops host special art and music events, offer sales and stay open later hours. There will be street buskers, live music, drink specials free trolley rides, clothing specials, art shows, bicycle valet, you name it! Check out their event page for more info!
HOWL-OWEEN
Saturday October 26th from 2 pm – 6 pm
This is one of my favorite trick-or-treating events! I love that it incorporates a nature walk and while the kids get a few pieces of candy, it’s not candy overload (because they really don’t need that much!). Head to El Dorado Park for creepy crawlers and haunted hoots, as you trick and treat your way through the trails! Bring the family for a fun filled night. Meet live animals, create a critter craft and meet some of the Nature Center’s resident ghosts and goblins. Don’t forget to wear you Howl-oween finest. This is a family friendly event. Parent participation is required for children under 16 years of age. $5 suggested donation per person goes to our non-profit Friends of El Dorado Nature Center/ Partners of Parks. Parking is $7
LAST TRAIL ENTRY 5:00pm. Event ends at 6:00pm
Check out their website to learn more and don’t forget to follow El Dorado on their social channels to be the first to learn about more cool events!
