Long Beach Architecture Week (LBAW) goes virtual for 2020
Enjoy ten events from September 17—27, including tours, design events, and more!
Long Beach Architecture Week 2020 (LBAW 2020) goes digital this year, and offers self-guided tours and signature educational events through the new LBLiving app. The app is now available for iPhones and Androids on the App Store and Google Play (www.welcometolb.com). A total of ten online events from September 17—27 offers something for everyone, from architectural tours and film screenings, to educational presentations and panel discussions with architects and design experts.
LBAW has a calendar to delight not just local architecture lovers, but the whole world of design fans, thanks to this accessible digital platform. For event details, check out the Long Beach Architecture Week website.

Long Beach Architecture Week celebrates and fosters an appreciation of architecture and design in the City of Long Beach. By exploring architecture and design through a multifaceted lens of history, contemporary issues and preservation, Long Beach Architecture week encourages education, sustainable living, and community engagement with diverse audiences in Long Beach.
Long Beach Architecture Week is a series of tours, events and educational opportunities that celebrate architecture, promote preservation, sustainability, and new developments. Participants can expect both experiential events and learning opportunities geared toward a broad community of both architecture and city of Long Beach enthusiast. Long Beach Architecture Week will be presented concurrently with a special issue of Long Beach Home + Living Magazine dedicated to celebrating the incredible history, diversity, and future of the architectural environment in our city.
As all great cities do, Long Beach is changing and expanding. Right now, the city is experiencing one of the greatest building booms in its history. Long Beach Architecture offers the opportunity for residents and visitors to experience the city as a living organism through its cherished, historic buildings that anchor the community. Rehabilitated, restored and newly built structures that will change how Long Beach looks and feels.
Long Beach Architecture Week gives community members the opportunity to explore important structures in the city through educational talks, exciting tours, and community events.
