Reach your goals with personal training at Gold’s Gym

Gold’s Gym has recently opened a new Long Beach location at the Pike, promoting a more holistic approach to wellness and robust hours to work with anyone’s schedule.

Within the brand new facility lies an expansive free-weight area, exercise machines, a rotating schedule of group classes and Gold’s Signature Playground Turf Area, complete with heavy boxing bags and sled lanes for intensive workouts.

Every new member is entitled to a complimentary welcome workout that includes a body composition scan that identifies gym goers’ muscle mass and body fat in order to create a blueprint to help you achieve your goals.

“One thing that really separates our program is the four pillar approach,” Vice President of Gold’s Gym SoCal Mike Mitchell said.

These pillars include a focus on nutrition, exercise and movement, dietary assistance and a sense of support and accountability through the gym’s staff of trainers.

Gold’s Gym works with DotFit supplementation to help members reach their body goals, as well as going over nutrition planning to ensure gym goers can maintain them once achieved.

Personal trainers work from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. and develop training routines that are uniquely suited for each member’s needs and ability.

Staffed trainers have varying focuses, from weight lifting to strength rehabilitation after an injury, to help members achieve gym goals, regardless of a member’s experience or initial capability.

“The ‘personal’ comes before training, so it’s important that we match members to the right coach,” Mitchell said.

Gold’s Gym hopes to reach people who may not feel confident working out or those who need more one-on-one accountability and motivation through working with a trainer.

Trainers not only help you stay accountable but assist in perfecting your technique and pushing you out of your comfort zone when it comes to trying new forms of movement.

“Our trainers build relationships that last a lifetime,” said Mitchell.
