Here is a list of the festivities taking place in the city in the next few weeks where you can raise your stein, dance to lively polkas, and revel in the spirit of Oktoberfest. 3rd Annual Long Beach Oktoberfest
Kicking the list off is a month-long Oktoberfest celebration at Long Beach Scottish Rite! The 3rd Annual Long Beach Oktoberfest takes place from September 29th to October 22nd, 2023. This lively celebration will feature an array of authentic German beer and cuisine. The festivities are tailored for various audiences, with daytime events on Saturday and Sunday welcoming families of all ages, and Friday and Saturday nights reserved for those 21 and over. General admission is priced at $20, covering entry and entertainment, while food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. Children under 12 enjoy free admission. For an enhanced experience, consider VIP admission at $150, which includes parking, festival entry, a guaranteed seat in the prime “best view” riser rows near the stage, an official LB Oktoberfest stein, a plate of food (with a vegan option available), and five beverage tickets valid for any beer or wine selection. Oktoberfest Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Research at Port City Tavern
Celebrate Oktoberfest at Port City Tavern on Saturday, September 30, and support a cause! Your participation at this event is dedicated to supporting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research. Barber Hayley Mackanin, a childhood cancer survivor, will also be providing complimentary head shaves for those willing to stand in solidarity with children battling cancer. Put on your finest lederhosen or dirndls and head over to Trademark Brewing on Saturday, September 30, to celebrate the brewery’s release of LAGERDOODLE, a 5% Amber Lager. From 12-6 PM, be prepared for an array of German-inspired delights, including beer, food, games, and a not-to-be-missed dog costume contest! Ten Mile Brewing’s Oktoberfest & 6th Anniversary Celebration
Ten Mile Brewing is hosting a day of beer, food, and celebration at their Oktoberfest & 6th Anniversary event! On Saturday, September 30th, 2023, from 12-6 p.m., the brewery will be transformed into a festive beer garden, providing special releases and traditional Oktoberfest-style lagers. Their pizza kitchen will be serving up pies all day, including a special German pizza. Rasselbock, the Bixby Knolls German eatery and pub, will also be present, offering authentic and delicious German cuisine.
