Located right by the traffic circle is a tattoo shop whose artists specialize in a wide range of tattoo styles. They also have a location in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa. For Friday the 13th, Port City has flash sheets starting at $100 and going up to $300.
579 Tattoo
This Biby Knolls Shop was founded by two industry trailblazers, Jay R and his wife Nina. The pair opened a shop in South Africa that was renowned as one of the top 3 shops in the region. In Long Beach, they’ve created a space that is conducive to a clean and serene tattoo experience. For Friday the 13th, 579 has flash specials ranging from $30-$80.
Inky Dreams Tattoo
Just south of Rose Park is a tattoo shop owned by Sofia and Mason, who have years of experience between them. For Friday the 13th, they’ve put together a flash sheet of Halloween-centric designs with prices starting at $50 and up. If you can’t make it to the shop tomorrow, walk-ins are always welcome.
The Raven and the Wolves
Make a day out of Friday the 13th and head to the Promenade between 3rd and Broadway. Grab a bite to eat at any one of the local eateries and then head upstairs to The Raven and the Wolves. Their flash specials start at $80 and up. The space also doubles as an art gallery where you’re free to walk around while you wait.
Lost Harbor Tattoo
Just over the bridge, in Wilmington is a shop that specializes in Tiki Tattoos. For Friday the 13th, they have flash sheets with over 140 designs starting at $80. This no frills shop is quickly becoming a destination in the South Bay for clean work at a reasonable price.
