The 2024 Paris Olympics are well underway and will continue through August 11. We’ve got you covered with a list of places to watch your favorite world-class athletes go for gold.
Watch Me! Sports Bar
California’s first and only women’s sports bar opened in Long Beach last weekend, just in time for the Olympics. The bar shows predominantly women’s sports, in an effort to flip the script on the traditional sports bar experience. The bar features an open air patio, and large indoor space with loft seating, making it the perfect spot for large groups. In addition to a full bar, Watch Me! also features a farm-fresh food menu, made with sustainable and locally sourced ingredients. They’ve adopted special flexible hours for the Olympics, based on scheduled events.
Legend’s Sports Bar
There’s no better place to watch your favorite athletes compete than at America’s first sports bar. As an added bonus, you’ll be able to check on the torch used in the 1984 Olympics that is currently on display at Legends. With 30 televisions and 2 large projectors, every seat in the house gives you front row access to all things Paris!
Gallagher’s
Pop into this neighborhood pub for good eats and ice cold pints. In addition to a wide selection of beers on tap, the Irish pub also features a patio. Whether you choose to watch inside or in the open air, Gallagher’s is a kid friendly spot to watch the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Shannon’s Corner on Pine
Known for showing all of the biggest events in Sports, you can count on Shannon’s to show nonstop Olympics coverage. This local favorite offers up pub classics like fish ‘n’ chips that pair nicely with an ice cold beer. And when you’ve had your fill of sports, head back at night to experience the tiki lounge they have downstairs!
Ficklewood Ciderworks
This quaint cider house on Broadway offers up fresh and bright, housemade ciders. If watching athletes compete gives you the competitive itch, be sure to visit their wall of board games. Challenge your friends to your favorite game, grab a bite and watch the Paris Olympics the Ficklewood way.
